The Lady Eagles are a work in progress as they
play the first game of the season

The Lady Eagles took on Dallas Sunset Lady Bisons on Friday night hoping to get the win for the
first game. With the JV girls having a slow start, they still managed to get some points on the
broad with help of Jessica. They struggled mostly with passing as they weren’t able to give
the ball to the player that was ahead and wide open. Being able to block the ball was not too
shabby as well as the ability to get some rebounds. They ended the first half behind the Lady
Bisons. The second half wasn’t any better when they finished the game 42-14.
The Varsity had their troubles as well when hustling was something that needed some work
throughout the whole game. The first half wasn’t too good as they let sunset score 29 points.
For our ladies only 9 points were scored in the first half with #1 Mayra standing out running
through the players straight to the basket. The second half was better with not letting the Lady
Bisons score so much and our Lady eagles putting up points within a few minutes ending the
game 38-28. Let’s see if the next game against Maypearl our great Lady Eagles take the win.
